You first need to upload your photo to a picture-server such as picasa, tinypic, photobucket etc...

There you need to find the link to your photo.

then:
use the button, here you put a link to a picture

and presto!
:D

Be carefull with this.
If the fermentation is starting in the middle of the night, your bottle could be exploding the next day.
You don't want glass in your face.
Thats why you need cotton.

You don't know yet.
It even can take 7 days before the yeast will start.

I do not know if the beer was pasteurized
This is indeed the question.
Some beers are pasteurized, and some don't.
If it is a real good crafbeer, just like an Belgian trappist, then the bottle is not pasteurized.
Altough the trapist beers are not as good as in the old days.
The Belgians don't have the best beers in the world anymore.
The average USA beer is better.
Even Dutch beers are better than the Belgian beers.

What happened with Belgium?
InBev
The rest of the brands are facing difficulties to compete with InBev, so they become worse also.

Citaat

Eight years, but only six batches a year, so i am still learning every day.

Very correct Willem!
I think Ozzie is in need of glasses.

There is indeed a modest depot of yeast in the upper left corner.

What happened with Belgium?

Not much. Some people think that the beers are less tasty.

I enjoy more then 30 years Belgian beers. They are still very drinkable.
The craft beers from the USA are improved recent years, but that's another story.

Isn't the white ring not a yeastdepot?
Are you sure that there is yeast in those bottles Wamser?
A beer with yeast has a white substance on the bottom of the bottle.

The yeast is not revived

I changed the type of yeast.

I will try to Erdinger, because it is written in label
"Refermented inside the bottle "

I put Saturday, in apple juice with airlock valve

after I'll try with beer Chimay

The Chimay will definately work! What is the "best before" date on the bottle?
Give it time and be patient. You might have to wait more than a week if the bottle is older.

The erdinger might grow too, but people think it is just a botteling-yeast. Not the yeast used for the main fermentation.

I would like to produce a wheat beer
and I thought of reviving the Erdinger yeast
but there are other better for this type of beer?
